Michael-Alan Taylor (Nth Ascension front man) has created a stunning lyric video for Lady of The Lake from his 2018 release Avalonia (The Sonnets of Guinevere). Steeped in Arthurian lore the video brings to life the last request of King Arthur to return the sword of legend – Excalibur to the Lady of the Lake.
The imagery is a mixture of traditional artist renditions depicting the Arthurian legends, photography by Michael-Alan of Pendragon Castle the setting for his video Guinevere and shots of Michael-Alan in his role as Lancelot shot in Scotland by Adrian-Paul Ashworth. The combination of the old and new give a timeless quality that has been the staple and appeal of King Arthur and his court.
The watery theme so perfectly captured in this cinematic soundtrack carries us onward in a time not forgotten but part of us all.
