Butterfly Effect: En Centroamérica no hay mucho Power metal de calidad, debido a que las pocas bandas que hay en ese territorio son poco apoyadas por los medios locales. Pero la verdad que estos ticos Wings of Destiny me dejaron con un buen sabor de boca desde su primer álbum Time lanzado en 2015. Esta banda fue formada en 2013 y su Estilo musical abarca un versátil Heavy Power metal con toques progresivos influenciados por la gran banda Shymphony X , la voz de Anton Darusso es demoníaca e implacable, pero lo mejor es que a pesar de su rudeza sabe sacarle un lado melódico a su voz. Veamos entonces que nos prepararon en su tercer trabajo discográfico Estos ticos (pura vida) en este álbum que Inicia con el tema.
“Prelude: Garden of Eden” Introducción épica con un saborcillo arabico/oriental con orquestaciones impecables, tenebrosas melodías, mucha instrumentalidad, tonos menores y un desemboque al final de el minuto y 37 segundos que dura esta gran Introducción.
“Say Goodbye to Heaven” Nos encontramos con un riff de guitarra, como los que se le ocurren a Cristian Jimenez, el vozarrón de Anton Darusso es atronadora y desgarradora pero sin perder el tacto melódico que es una de sus virtudes, los teclados siguen estando presentes pero a volúmenes más bajos, excepto en determinados pasajes donde aún se reconocen esos primeros años de la banda Tica en su álbum Time.
“Circle of Fire” Riffs durísimos y una batería a doble bombo comandando el ritmo y un bajo potentísimo obra de Edgardo Monge, un tema de mucha escensia Power contando con la voz de Anton Darusso que sencillamente hace con su garganta lo que le place, puesto que en otros fragmentos del tema, la dulcifica hasta extremos incocebibles: un verdadero maestro de las cuerdas vocales.
“Life Frequency” Una Canción muy extraña, de 39 segundos donde escucharemos varios cambios de emisoras pasando por diversos estilos musicales.
“Butterfly Effect” El tema homónimo del disco nos pega durísimo con un ritmo intenso guitarras rápidas engarzadas con los teclados y la crudísima y rasgada voz de Anton Darusso , los coros aplican una textura melódica en una canción donde de nuevo somos asotados por violenta voz de Anton Darusso y las guitarras poderosas de Cristian Jiménez, que tienen un especial protagonismo en toda la composición.
“From Shadows to the Light” Una Canción muy movidita agregando un sentido orquestal y unos riffs sencillamente especiales, Un Temazo de frío Power Metal donde los teclados reaparecen por sus fueros, y la melodía realiza unos contrastes mágicos acompañado esa inquietante y poderosa voz del señor Anton Darusso.
“Exodus” Es otro instrumental con sonidos muy extraños y unas voces misteriosas, también unos impecables y Bellos sonidos neoclásicos en el final del mismo.
“Brave New World” Riffs acuchillantes que pegan junto a los giros musicales que son para volverse loco y mover la cabeza con esa base rítmica speed y poderosa, las guitarras de Cristian Jiménez y Allan muestran mucha dureza y oscuridad que se hacen presentes en todos los lados de esta dura embestida de Speed Heavy Metal.
Y para cerrar el álbum los ticos nos endulzan el paladar con el siguiente tema que es.
“Outro: Time (Acoustic version)” Es la versión acústica de el tercer tema de su álbum Time lanzado en 2015, cantando con mucha magia por parte de Anton Darusso, tema que nos envuelve con esas guitarras acústicas y unos violines de fondo que tanta magia entregan en esta hermosa composición digna de depidir un espectacular álbum.
Impresionante e impecable álbum de los costarricenses, con un sonido brutal y profesional a más no poder llegando a sonar como si fuera una banda europea, veo en esta placa influencias claras de la banda Shymphony X que estos chicos han sabido introducir de buena manera en este álbum, otra cosa que resaltó es la grandiosa y poderosa voz Anton Darusso muestra un potencial vocal gigante, Así que mi puntuación para este álbum es de 9/10.

Awesome and flawless Costa Rican album, with a brutal and professional sound to more not being able to sound like a European band, I see in this plate clear influences from the band shymphony x that these guys have been able to introduce in good way in this Album, another thing he highlighted is the great and powerful voice Anton Darusso shows a giant vocal potential, so my score for this album is 9/10.
