Vytas Brenner’s Music to Vibrate in Caracas 

On Saturday March 21, living Ríos Reyna del Teatro Teresa Carreño will host a unique event that will feature music Vytas Brenner, whose extensive work will be remembered and interpreted in OFFERING FOR Vytas, with the special participation of some of the major national artists connected in one way or another to the rich artistic legacy of this true pioneer of World Music.

This show, which celebrates the creative vitality of this artist, with the participation of Huascar Barradas, Alfredo Naranjo, Manuel Rangel, the Black Diego Alvarez, Jorge Glem, Gerry Weil, George Spiteri, Guillermo Carrasco, Biella Da Costa, Alexis Rossell y José Ignacio Lares.

This long list also includes musicians who played with Brenner, Nene Carlos Quintero, Sergio Perez, Joseíto Romero, Miguel Noya, Carlos Acosta, Ezequiel Serrano, Roldan Peña, Gerardo Lopez and Ali Agüero. Innovative proposals as Gaelic, Backhand and Compasses enrich the artistic spectrum of the event, with musical direction by Santos Palazzi and arrangements for orchestra and band Pedrito Lopez and Palazzi own.

The Orchestra of Venezuela will have a central role in interpreting sections of Black Gold, the symphony to compose Brenner and in 1989 premiered by the orchestra, in this very room and under the direction-then and now the Maestro Alfredo Rugeles.

La música de Vytas Brenner vibrará en Caracas 

El sábado 21 de Marzo, la sala Ríos Reyna del Teatro Teresa Carreño será escenario de un evento irrepetible que tendrá como protagonista la música de Vytas Brenner, cuya amplia obra será recordada e interpretada en OFRENDA PARA VYTAS, con la participación especial de algunos de los más importantes artistas nacionales, conectados de una u otra manera con el rico legado artístico de este verdadero pionero del World Music.

Este espectáculo, que celebra la vitalidad creativa de este artista, contará con la participación de Huáscar Barradas, Alfredo Naranjo, Manuel Rangel, Diego el Negro Álvarez, Jorge Glem, Gerry Weil, Jorge Spiteri, Guillermo Carrasco, Biella Da Costa, Alexis Rossell y José Ignacio Lares.

Esta nutrida lista incluye también a músicos que tocaron con Brenner, como Carlos Nené Quintero, Sergio Pérez, Joseíto Romero, Miguel Noya, Carlos Acosta, Ezequiel Serrano, Roldan Peña, Gerardo López y Alí Agüero. Propuestas novedosas como Gaélica, Backhand y Compasses enriquecerán el espectro artístico del evento, que cuenta con la dirección musical de Santos Palazzi y los arreglos para orquesta y banda de Pedrito López y el propio Palazzi.

La Sinfónica de Venezuela tendrá una participación central, al interpretar secciones de Oro Negro, la sinfonía que compusiera Brenner y que en 1989 fuera estrenada por la orquesta, en esta misma sala y bajo la dirección-entonces y ahora- del Maestro Alfredo Rugeles.
