January 17th, 2023 – Melodic Revolution Records is thrilled to announce the signing of the International melodic rock act Terry Newman Project for the future release of its debut album Walk Me Through the Fire due out later this year.
Terry Newman Project is an impressive new Melodic Rock band featuring the talents of Dutch Vocalist and Solo Artist Terry Newman, American musician Don Schiff on Electric Bass, Chapman Stick®, and NS/ StickTM, Don has been known to work with Eddie Money, Lana Lane, Rocket Scientists, Pat Benatar, and Italian Guitarist Maurizio Vercon has recorded with Aereostella, Frank Gambale, and Charlie Morgan. The upcoming album Walk Me Through the Fire promises to feature many special guests to create a unique sound all their own.
How The Project Came About.
“I’m in California and I got a FB message from Terry Newman (Netherlands) asking if I had any songs that would fit his style. I thought ‘Walk Me Through The Fire’ was a great fit as did Terry then Terry brings in Maurizio Vercon (Italy). We have never met but settled in on a common language (music) we started texting via the internet and working on an arrangement for the first song Walk Me Through the Fire. Terry, Maurizio, and I started arranging to start recording with Han at Bullet Sound Studios in Holland.
Needing more outside of the core group, we invited Mike, Brayden, and Leo to lend their talents to this ongoing project and album. Keeping in mind no one really knows the other, still a friendly bond forms around the project. Terry, Maurizio, and I have continued writing the remainder of the album maintaining the core group. We will also bring in other top guest musicians whose talents will lend themselves to our band’s sound. We look forward to this finished album and putting together a touring band.”
