Short Bio

“I’m in California and I received a Facebook message from Vocalist Terry Newman (Netherlands) asking if I had any songs that would fit his style. I thought ‘Walk Me Through The Fire’ was a great fit as did Terry, then Terry brings Italian Guitarist Maurizio Vercon into the fold. Even though we all reside in different parts of the world there is one constant, and that is the language of music. We then started our journey working on an arrangement for the first song Walk Me Through the Fire via the internet. Terry, Maurizio, and I started arranging to start recording with Han at Bullet Sound Studios in Holland.

Needing more outside of the core group, we invited Mike, Brayden, and Leo to lend their talents to this ongoing project and album. Keeping in mind no one really knows the other, still a friendly bond forms around the project. Terry, Maurizio, and I have continued writing the remainder of the album maintaining the core group. We will also bring in other top guest musicians whose talents will lend themselves to our band’s sound. We look forward to this finished album and putting together a touring band.”

Terry Newman

Reinier de Greef aka Terry Newman, (born in 1964) started his career in 1987. Terry is a solo singer/songwriter and entertainer who works with or without a band. Reinier as he worked for years in well-known cafés, podia, parties, and festivals in the national and international circuit. His repertoire has songs are known for being very melodic, from AOR to full swing including hits from that time. In 1990 he wrote the song “Romancin Around the World”, it was aired on television and radio, and the song became a big hit.

Over the years Reinier worked with producer and engineer John Sonneveld. John was a co-producer for artists such as Anouk, Golden Earring, Vengeance, Sleeze Beez, etc. in the Wisseloord Studio in Hilversum Holland

Don Schiff

Don started his professional career on Electric Bass and is one of the foremost Chapman Stick® and NS/ Stick™ bass guitar players in the world. Don has worked with toured and or written songs with Elvis Presley, Tina Turner, Elvin Bishop, Nia Peeples, Pam Tillis, Tully Winfield, Perry Como, Sheryl Crow, Dwight Yoakam, Raquel Welch, Frankie Avalon, Eddie Money, Lana Lane, Bobby Vinton, Herbie Hancock, Mark Trueack, Rocket Scientists, Al Green, The Diamonds, The Lettermen, The 5th Dimensions, Peggy Lee, Jerry Lee Lewis, Fabian, Bobby Rydell, Cliff Morrison, Vaughn Monroe, Buddy Morrow, Warren Covington, Ann-Margret, Shirley MacLaine, Ben Vereen, Petula Clark, Lou Christie, John Payne (Asia) Long John Baldry, Pat Benatar, Chuck Berry Kracked Earth and many more…

He can be seen acting in such films as, ‘84 Charlie Mopic’ (Soldier) 1989 and “Live From Death Row” (Crazy Fan running van) 1992

Schiff received a Gold Album for co-writing the song: Cerebral Man on Wide Awake In Dreamland album – Pat Benatar.
Writers T. Winfield, L. Matthew, and D. Schiff were Nominated for, Best Original Music in a Web Series Streamy Award – The Guild (2007)

Performed for the Queen of England with Shirley MacLaine and the Muppets
