Andres Guazzelli – La Balada del Viento y el Tiempo 02:11
The new track is a 2 minute + piano jazz ballad was inspired by the poem “Размышления о ветре и времени” (trans. “Reflections on wind and time“) by Russian poetess Anastasía Romanova and portrays the struggles of two monumental and transcendental forces: the Wind, fierce, untamed and unpredictable, and Time, immutable, unchanging, eternal. It’s short and sweet, yet intense.

Ian and Joanne are the kind of folks who makes the world a better place. Joanne suffers from young dementia and survived several strokes. Her husband Ian moves mountains to take care of her. The energy and optimism of these 2 people are an example for us all. I never met a couple so much in love, with such a high level of humor. They enjoy life to the max, take care of stray dogs, go to concerts as much as Joanne’s health can bare.
A few years ago, I had a very silly conversation on Facebook with Ian, Joanne, and the late Colin Tench. About moose with doorbells and naked men. A long conversation that became sillier by the minute, and we all had lots of fun.
It became an inside joke and today we still remember it. Reason enough to make a song about it, a reminder of happy times, and to celebrate our friendship.
