It is with heavy hearts that we share the deeply saddening news of the passing of our beloved friend and gifted musician, Cary Paul Clouser. Cary passed away suddenly at his home in Niagara Falls, Ontario, on December 21, 2024, at the age of 59. Born on September 1, 1965, in Trenton, New Jersey, Cary was a phenomenally talented musician and an exceptional person whose kindness, creativity, and boundless passion left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to cross his path. Cary radiated warmth, generosity, and a spirit that uplifted those around him.

Cary’s passing leaves a void in the music community. As we navigate this profound loss, we extend our deepest sympathies to his family, friends, and everyone whose lives were touched by his presence and artistry.

Cary Clouser’s musical journey began in the early 1980s. A multi-instrumentalist and composer, he showcased his incredible range of talents through bands like Cross Eyed Mary, Visions of Eight, Soundbox, and Oracle (Oracle winning the Niagara Music Awards 2 years in a row), delving into rock, progressive rock. A Trebas Institute of Recording Arts graduate in Toronto, Cary’s musical expertise was matched only by his passion for exploring new creative horizons.

In 2010, he released Finger Paintings, an album that beautifully highlighted his versatility. The record drew widespread acclaim, with fans comparing his evocative flute performances to the iconic sound of Jethro Tull. Cary’s ability to blend genres and craft timeless music has left a legacy that will continue to inspire musicians and listeners for generations to come. His 2nd solo album ‘As Loud As Silence’ has not yet been released, and due to current circumstances, it remains to be seen when and if it will see a release.

While we mourn the loss of Cary, we also celebrate the incredible legacy he leaves behind. His music, creativity, and generous spirit will forever remind us of the beauty he brought to the world… You will be profoundly missed, but never forgotten.
