Costa Rica’s premier progressive metal act Time’s Forgotten is proud to announce the release of their long-awaited fifth studio album, Songs of Awakening, due out on October 4, 2025, via acclaimed U.S. label Melodic Revolution Records.
The album will feature eight powerful new tracks, showcasing the band’s continued evolution and artistic maturity. Songs of Awakening also marks a milestone in the consolidation of Time’s Forgotten’s current lineup:

- Priscilla Ruiz – Lead Vocals
- Gonzalo Trejos – Bass
- Juan Pablo Calvo – Keyboards, Guitar, Backing Vocals
The album was recorded in various studios throughout 2024 and 2025 and was mixed and mastered by Juan Pablo Calvo at Finca Eléctrica Records.
“This album definitely marks a new era for the band,” says Calvo. “It builds on the extensive work we’ve done since Priscilla joined in 2018, from international tours and festival appearances to the release of our symphonic EP, and points the way toward everything still to come.”
Celebrating 20 Years of Music
The release of Songs of Awakening also coincides with Time’s Forgotten’s 20th anniversary. The band’s journey began with their debut performance in 2006 at the Eugene O’Neill Theater in Costa Rica, and over the past two decades, they’ve cultivated a passionate and loyal following both at home and abroad.
With Songs of Awakening, Time’s Forgotten not only celebrates their past, but boldly steps into their future.
