Spokane, WA – May 20th, 2025
Melodic Revolution Records is proud to announce the signing of acclaimed U.S. progressive rock band The Madrigal Project for the release of their highly anticipated second studio album, slated for late 2025 or early 2026. In advance of the album, the band will unveil a series of digital singles, offering fans an early glimpse into their evolving sound.

In addition, The Madrigal Project is thrilled to officially welcome guitarist Dan McInerney back to the lineup. Dan was the band’s original guitarist when Madrigal first formed in 1977. Over the years, he has built a distinguished career, winning Guitar Player magazine’s 30th Anniversary Guitar Competition, performing with members of Earth, Wind & Fire, and touring with the legendary Ray Charles. His inspired contributions to the band’s debut album, 11th Hour, ignited a creative renaissance that ultimately brought him back to his progressive rock roots.
Blending rich symphonic textures, complex arrangements, cinematic compositions, and emotionally charged melodies, The Madrigal Project has carved out a unique and compelling voice in modern progressive rock. Their debut double album, 11th Hour, received critical acclaim for its epic scope, lyrical depth, and outstanding musicianship.

In a statement, the band shared their excitement for this new chapter:

“The Madrigal Project is extremely grateful and excited to have the opportunity to work with Nick Katona and the entire team at Melodic Revolution Records! We’re very happy to have such amazingly talented folks helping us bring our special brand of progressive music to life.”

“We proudly welcome guitarist Dan McInerney back into the fold. Dan’s early contributions helped shape our identity, and his recent work on 11th Hour reminded us how vital his voice is to our sound. His return marks a powerful full-circle moment for the band.”

“We want to extend our deepest thanks to Nick Katona (Melodic Revolution Records), Rob and Miles Skarin (Crystal Spotlight, UK), Dave Cebert (Cue 11 Music), Harry Fix, Billy Sherwood, Oliver Wakeman, Adam Holzman, Hajo Müller, and everyone at Burning Shed, Bandcamp, Bandwagon, Just for Kicks, and Direct Disk USA/Japan for their incredible support, encouragement, and belief in our project.” “We are also very honored and grateful for all of the Podcasters, Internet Radio, Progressive Rock Publications, Interviewers, and Reviewers from around the world for welcoming us so graciously into the Prog Rock Community! Thank You!
“Most importantly, we thank our fans worldwide who have embraced 11th Hour and made its release such a resounding success. We promise to continue giving you the most original, engaging, and highest-quality progressive rock we can. We couldn’t do this without you.”

The band is currently deep into the writing and production of their next record and will be releasing several singles along the way.
