Gordon Bennett, an American guitarist picked up his first guitar, a $15 acoustic, at the age of 10 and immediately fell in love with the instrument and had to have it. Finally with enough pleading convinced his mom to buy it for him. “Thanks, Mom!”
By the time the mid-’70s rolled around Gord being 16 was able to get his first electric guitar and amp. Being influenced by the likes of Genesis, Rush, Pink Floyd, Jethro Tull, Deep Purple, etc. Gordo was soaking up the musical atmosphere of the time.
